QuenchTec has announced that chief executive Allan Shaw is stepping down from his position at the end of December 2017, because of health reasons. The company has appointed Mark Van Walwyk as his replacement as the new CEO.
Mark Van Walwyk is an industry veteran, having spent 16 years in senior positions at GfK. In recent years, he became MD of MI Pro UK, before the merger at the beginning of 2017 with MARSC to form London, Surrey and Sweden based market research tech market research software company, QuenchTec.
Mark stated: “I would like to thank Allan for the great work he has done. The entire team wishes him the very best for a healthy future. I am excited to continue with our growth plans to bring innovative solutions to the market that will help drive automation.
To support our growth further, I am delighted that Nick Southwood is joining QuenchTec as Sales Director for the UK,” continued Mark. “Nick Southwood brings with him a track record of excellence and will be responsible for all aspects of sales strategy development. His appointment will further strengthen the senior management team.”
Commenting on his new position, Nick Southwood said “I am excited to join QuenchTec and look forward to combining my industry knowledge and experience to lead the sales organisation and drive the business forward.”
